Lecture 11 : Sound System

Description

In the eleventh lecture, we take a look at sound in computer games, focusing primarily on their use as a kind of user interface. Starting with some base terminology, we follow up with its historical development and matters of design. The final part of the lecture is then dedicated to how a sound system within a larger game engine may be implemented.
